Actor Rituparna Sengupta penned a deeply emotional note mourning the sudden demise of Rahul Arunoday Banerjee , expressing disbelief and anguish over the loss of the 43-year-old actor. In her message, she questioned how someone so full of life could leave “so prematurely”, admitting that she is still searching for answers to the tragedy.
Remembering Rahul as a visionary and a representative of an entire generation, Rituparna described him as a prolific talent who built his legacy with “blood and sweat”. She reflected on his strong observations, his passion for creating, and the many ideas that constantly drove him as an artist.
The actor also recalled Rahul’s resilience, noting how he always fought through difficult phases in life and stood tall despite disruptions. Calling his sudden departure impossible to accept, she wrote that the industry and those who knew him are struggling to come to terms with the void he has left behind.
Rituparna ended her tribute by remembering Rahul’s warmth, wisdom and infectious positivity, adding that his shining spirit and the inspiration he gave others will continue to live on, even as his loss leaves a wound that “will never heal.”
