Hyderabad cab driver held for double murder over loan repayment

Hyderabad: A 29-year-old cab driver was arrested on Tuesday, March 31, for murdering two women and stealing their gold ornaments to repay his loan.
The two murders took place on March 11 and 14, respectively. The accused was identified as K Vasu, a native of Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district and a resident of Jubilee Hills.
In the first case, Vasu offered a ride to Boinpally Yadamma, 70. He took her to a secluded place and strangled her to death before taking her ornaments.
In the second case, on March 14, the accused took Mangamma, 56, to a secluded place and strangled her to death.
