New order of PCB, on the instructions of Mohsin Naqvi, the great freedom of these Pakistani cricketers was snatched away.

PCB New Guidelines: Pakistan Cricket Board has issued a new order for its players. He has set some rules and regulations for the players associated with his central contract. According to the new guidelines, cricketers associated with the central contract with PCB will now be prohibited from posting on social media without permission. They will have to take approval from the media department of PCB before posting anything. Now the question is, what kind of guidelines is this of PCB which is stopping the players from saying, writing or sharing anything as per their wish? Through this, Pakistan Cricket Board is simply snatching away the freedom of its players and nothing else.

Strict instructions to players from PCB

Pakistan's Geo News has published a report quoting its sources that the players coming under the Central Agreement will have to avoid violating the rules, especially they cannot post anything on social media. The board has given strict instructions to the players regarding this. Along with the players, their managers have also been informed about PCB's guidelines related to social media.

Heavy fine will be imposed for making a mistake

PCB has given strict instructions that political posts will not be tolerated at any cost. Players associated with the central agreement will have to take all necessary precautions during public communication. PCB said that if any player posts a controversial post, he will be fined 1 crore Pakistani rupees.

PCB took action after Naseem Shah incident

Pakistan Cricket Board has taken this step in view of the incident related to fast bowler Naseem Shah. Naseem Shah had made controversial comments about Pakistan's Punjab Province Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, for which the 23-year-old pacer was fined Rs 2 crore.

Naseem Shah's incident is related to the opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League 2026, where Maryam Nawaz came as the chief guest and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi introduced her to the owners and players of the PSL franchises.

'Freedom' was snatched away at the behest of Mohsin Naqvi

However, when Naseem Shah was already sentenced to a fine of Rs 2 crore for the controversial post, then what is the point of PCB bringing new guidelines related to social media posts? This may have been done at the behest of Mohsin Naqvi. But, this decision of PCB seems to be no less than a Taliban decree, which has removed the players associated with the Central Agreement from social media and has stopped them from writing or sharing anything there without permission.
