01 Apr 2026
EaseMyTrip, a leading travel services provider, has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Sanatan AI.
The collaboration aims to create an entrepreneurship program for India's spiritual services sector.
The initiative, called "1 Panchayat - 1 Pandit - SANATANAI Shop on Wheels by EMT," will deploy mobile EV-based service units across up to two lakh panchayats in five years.
Mobile service units to offer localized spiritual commerce
Project details
The mobile service units will serve as localized spiritual commerce hubs, offering services like pooja bookings, pooja samagri, religious travel planning, virtual darshan, and also facilitation of kathas and jagrans.
EaseMyTrip's role in the deal is to integrate religious and pilgrimage travel services into this ecosystem through a decentralized franchise-led model.
The company has been actively expanding its footprint in the religious tourism space.
Program to enable certified micro-entrepreneurs
Empowerment initiative
The program specifically targets the pandits, pujaris, and Sanskrit-trained youth, enabling them to become certified micro-entrepreneurs through structured training and standardized service delivery.
Financing for eligible participants will be facilitated via a MUDRA-linked framework.
Nishant Pitti, Founder and Chairman of EaseMyTrip, said the initiative is aimed at bringing traditional service providers into a formalized economic system with skill development and market access as key pillars.
