Sky News Australia presenter Rita Panahi discussed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on her programme ahead of their visit Down Under, which is due to happen in the coming weeks. According to reports, Meghan will be the headliner for the "Her Best Life Retreat" in Sydney, while Harry is expected to participate in the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit.

Meanwhile, Harry is set to return to the UK this July for the one-year countdown events for the Birmingham 2027 Invictus Games, with speculation mounting that he will be reunited with the Royal Family. Addressing the potential reunion, Rita told viewers: "Now, we brought you news the other day of a potential royal reunion between King Charles and Prince Harry in the UK later this year. However, new reports reveal that Prince William may snub his younger brother and that invitation if it were to come.

She asked her guest, comedian and writer Michael Loftus, what he thought of the situation and if he could see the brothers ever reconciling.

Before he could answer, the Sky News star added: "It's really sad that the only sons of the future king - William is obviously going to be king one day. To have Harry completely estranged from his family is a sad state of affairs."

In response, Michael said: "Yeah, these two guys have to get back together, and they will. It's Meghan Markle."

Taking aim at the Duchess of Sussex, he fumed: "This chick must just be unbearable to be around. I guess she's going to be touring Australia and giving a speech about her best life. That's the last person you want to hear about her best life.

"Meghan Markle, who is just on this trail of tears, what is she going to tell these people? You want to marry a royal and ruin his life?

"The royals need to be very quiet for a long time and need to take a page out of Queen Elizabeth II's handbook.

"She would just hang back; you would not hear from her for months. She's just pop out saying, 'I love Britain' and she'd go away again. That's what these boys need to do."

Sky News airs daily on Sky, YouTube and Freeview.
