Digital Desk, Busted. Before his upcoming film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, actor Akshay Kumar reached Mahakal’s city Ujjain on Wednesday morning and went to Mahakaleshwar temple, where he worshiped Baba Mahakal. His mother-in-law and well-known actress Dimple Kapadia was also seen with him. After the darshan, Akshay while speaking to reporters said that he prayed not only for himself but also for the entire country and his family. He said, “It was really great… I prayed for the entire country and my family. I prayed that our country always progresses and moves forward.”

Mahakaleshwar Temple, situated on the banks of Shipra River in Ujjain, is one of the major and extremely sacred temples among the 12 Jyotirlingas of India, which holds religious and historical importance since ancient times. Here Lord Shiva is worshiped as “Mahakala”, the god of time and death. The Bhasma Aarti of the temple is world famous, devotees come from far and wide to see it. It is believed that by visiting here, all the troubles of the devotees are removed and they attain salvation.

Nowadays, Akshay Kumar is busy preparing for the release of the film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ directed by Priyadarshan. This project marks the return of the duo to work together after almost 14 years. The film has a strong ensemble cast, in which Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jissu Sengupta, Asrani and Vamika Gabbi will be seen in important roles. ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with ‘Cape of Good Films’. The film is scheduled to release in theaters this April.
