Trump blasts France: US President Donald Trump has issued a direct threat to France because France did not allow US military aircraft going to Israel to use its airspace. These planes were going to Israel carrying military goods. Trump, while posting on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ on Tuesday, described France as a ‘non-ally’ and said that America will remember this. Trump wrote, ‘France did not allow planes carrying military material for Israel to pass through its territory. France has not been at all helpful in the crackdown against the ‘Butcher of Iran’, who has been successfully eliminated. America will remember this.

Italy also did not allow America to use its airbase
Italy has also refused to allow America to use its Sigonella airbase. Italy’s Defense Minister Guido Crosetto took the decision when he learned of American planes’ plans to fly to West Asia after landing in Sigonella. It is being told that America neither sought any permission nor consulted Italian military officials regarding the use of Italian airbase. The investigation also revealed that these were not normal or logistics flights, hence they did not fall within the scope of the agreement with Italy.
