New Delhi, 2 April 2026: Indian intelligence agencies have issued a very serious alert. Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is planning a large-scale cyber attack to harm India’s security and economy. According to the Intelligence Bureau report, ISI officials have recently held several meetings, the main objective of which is to dismantle Indian security organizations and financial structures.
According to sources, Pakistan has fielded its special cyber force to carry out these attacks. Apart from this, notorious hacker groups have also been activated. In the 2025 assessment of security agencies, it was also warned that cyber attacks from Pakistan will prove to be the biggest threat to India in 2026.
According to the report, this time ISI is planning to use dangerous hacker groups like HOAX1337 and National Cyber Crew. The primary target of these groups is India’s defense sector. Their aim is to compromise the Indian Army network and steal highly confidential information.
Not only digital attacks, but espionage networks have also been spread at the ground level. Ghaziabad Police’s investigation has made shocking revelations that some people had installed solar powered CCTV cameras in sensitive areas and sent ‘live feed’ directly to Pakistani handlers. Railway stations have also been found to be the target of this espionage network.
This time ISI is working on deceitful strategy. On the one hand, they will spread propaganda through technical attacks and on the other hand through social media. Considering the circumstances of the next elections, misleading propaganda will be carried out. There is a plan to spread panic through fake messages and calls regarding price increase of oil and LPG, so that black marketing increases in the market. There are sectors like education and aviation where even a simple rumor can create huge chaos, hence it is advisable to be especially cautious here too.
Officials had said that Pakistan is spending huge amount of money for these anti-India activities. Pakistani media and social media platforms are being used to tarnish India’s image. However, Indian government’s fact-check teams and cyber experts are continuously refuting such misinformation.
