Pranos Fusion aims for 50-100MW reactor
They've built Jenga (a design platform for future reactors) and Pragya (a device that studies plasma, the super-hot stuff inside reactors).
Their focus is on making compact, affordable reactors using high-temperature superconducting magnets so fusion energy isn't just a science experiment but actually accessible.
Thanks to India's role in the global ITER project, Pranos Fusion can tap into top-notch manufacturing for their tech.
Their goal is to design a full-scale fusion reactor capable of generating 50 to 100 megawatts of electricity, with construction targeted to begin around 2030, putting India right on track with the world in making fusion energy real.
