DeepSeek tests V4 with Huawei Cambricon
DeepSeek teamed up with Huawei and Cambricon to tweak code and run tons of tests before launch.
Unlike most companies that rely on US chipmakers early on, DeepSeek is going all in on Chinese tech, even building two more V4 models built to run on Chinese chips.
This move could boost China's spot in global AI and help cut down dependence on foreign technology.
