Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has scripted history by becoming the first Hindi film to cross Rs 1,000 crore in net domestic collections across all versions. With this milestone, it joins an elite league alongside Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2, emerging as only the third Indian film—and the first from Bollywood—to achieve the feat.

Released on March 19, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, the film benefited from a festive window that included Eid and the following weekend. Strong word of mouth, coupled with the success of its first installment, helped drive audiences to theatres and sustain its impressive run.

According to Sacnilk, by day 18 (Sunday evening), Dhurandhar 2 had crossed Rs 1,000 crore net in India. Notably, around Rs 900 crore came from the Hindi version alone, setting a new benchmark for the language.

The film closed its second week with Rs 263.65 crore and entered its third weekend with solid momentum. It collected Rs 21.55 crore on day 16 (Friday), followed by Rs 25.65 crore on day 17 (Saturday). By 9 pm on day 18 (Sunday), it had added another Rs 26 crore, taking its total net domestic collection to Rs 1,011.02 crore.

Overseas, the film has delivered a powerful performance as well. It earned over USD 22 million in its opening weekend and crossed USD 30 million by the end of its second week. A sharp spike on Saturday saw collections jump to over USD 1 million, up from just above USD 500,000 on Friday, pushing its total international gross beyond USD 41.5 million.

The film has also set new benchmarks in key global markets. In North America, it has surpassed the long-standing record held by Baahubali 2, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in the region.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
