A TalkTV star unleashed a scathing attack on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry - branding their behaviour as beyond repair and insisting there is virtually no way back into the Royal Family. During a fiery segment on TalkTV, host Mark Dolan posed the question many have been asking for years. "Is there any way back for the Sussex's into the bosom of the Royal Family?" he said. What followed was a brutal assessment of the couple's standing - with U.S. political commentator Hilary Fordwich delivering a blunt verdict.
She said: "There's a yes, no answer. 100% definitely no if they continue doing what they've been doing and continuing down this track. They cannot throw the Royal Family under proverbial royal bus, they cannot badmouth the Royal Family. They cannot do all that they've done." Fordwich made clear she believes trust has already been destroyed. She added: "I think it's actually too late to ever gain trust. It's like saying to someone 'love me, love me' - no, you have to have them love you. You have to prove that you're trustworthy so that's all destroyed."
However, she did suggest one narrow path - though it would require a complete overhaul of how the couple live their lives.
She said: "However, the only yes would be if hypocritical Harry could actually do what he said he wanted to do. Remember when he said that he has PTSD and panic attacks when he's in front of the media and then went to LA with their three PR firms, etc."
She added: "If they move to Africa and they actually dedicated themselves for a number of years to the local community and they actually do some good, if they actually did want privacy for their children and Meghan stop putting them over Instagram and promoting them and using them."
She went on to add this could eventually lead to a reunion with the Royal Family. "If they stop being critical of the royal family and they did that for many years, I do think there will be some admiration for what they have done that was right."
The remarks triggered a flood of reaction online, with viewers split over whether reconciliation is even possible.
One wrote: "Harry and his wife trashed the monarchy, called his brother his 'arch-nemesis,' labeled Camilla 'dangerous'. Is the Royal Family just supposed to act like none of that happened?"
Others suggested the couple may have already moved on entirely.
One viewer added: "They don't want to come back. They've extended the olive branch to Charles. At the end of the day he takes it or he doesn't, simple. Then everyone moves on. Will the press then stop reporting on a family that have fallen out."
The fierce exchange highlights just how polarising the Sussexes remain - and how little consensus there is on whether the rift with the Royal Family can ever truly be healed.
