After this, both of them went to Ashtabhuji temple in Vindhyachal, Uttar Pradesh and got married according to the rituals. After marriage, they returned to Buxar and performed the marriage ceremony by garlanding each other in Rameshwar Nath temple. The special thing in this regard is that Sandhya Devi has accepted herself as the wife and Ruby Kumari has accepted herself as the husband.

Sandhya and Ruby allege that their family members are threatening them and have refused to enter the house, due to which they are forced to wander here and there. Sandhya Devi made serious allegations against her husband and said that she was living with him for the last 16 years, but during this period she had to face beatings and torture from her husband. She says that her husband used to threaten her under the influence of alcohol and used to argue over small matters.
