The religious city of Ujjain, where Lord Shiva is believed to reside in every particle, once again witnessed unique devotion. Lakhs of devotees come to the court of Baba Mahakal every day, but some devotion leaves such moments which are remembered for a long time.

On Monday, two different devotees made such a donation in the Mahakal temple, which surprised everyone. On one hand, silver jewelery worth Rs 70 lakh was offered, on the other hand, a drone camera was offered for the service of the temple.

Silver jewelery worth Rs 70 lakh caught everyone’s attention

A special atmosphere was created in the Mahakal temple when devotee Maheshbhai Bhagwandas Thakur, who had come from Ahmedabad, arrived with his family for darshan. His devotion was not limited to just darshan. He offered grand jewelery made of about 29 kg of silver to Baba Mahakal, the value of which is said to be around Rs 70 lakh. The devotees present in the temple were surprised to see these shining jewellery. This donation became a symbol not just of money, but of deep faith and dedication.

Know the specialty of these ornaments

Many special items were included in the jewelery offered, which made the adornment of Baba Mahakal more grand. These include many adornments like turban, crown with Ganga water, crown studded with hawthorn and sunrays, moon decorated crown, mundamala, kundal, incense pot, damru-bell, Rudraksha rosary, tripund, chaanwar and netra. The total weight of all these jewelery is said to be around 29 kg 941 grams. This grand adornment is not only a symbol of beauty but also a proof of the devotee’s devotion.

Temple committee honored

The temple management committee honored the devotee by giving special importance to this donation. Assistant Administrator SN Soni described this donation as a symbol of true devotion and dedication. He said that such donations further strengthen the tradition and faith of the temple.

While on one hand the jewelery caught everyone’s attention, on the other hand another donation inspired people. Pir Yogi Shri Ramnath Ji Maharaj of Bharatri Cave, Ujjain offered a drone camera to Baba Mahakal. This donation is special because it will be used to improve the arrangements of the temple. This will further strengthen security and surveillance.
