Uma Bharti sells poha-jalebi by selling poha-jalebi, opens front against anti-encroachment action of Tikamgarh Municipality

The political atmosphere has heated up over the campaign launched by Tikamgarh Municipality and District Administration to remove encroachments in the city. Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti protested against this action and started selling Poha-Jalebi by setting up a stall.

On this matter, he said that it is unfortunate that Tikamgarh Municipality and Assembly were not with BJP, otherwise this unjust action would not have happened tomorrow. Talking to journalists, he said that this action of the municipality is unfortunate. He said that the brunt of the administration should first fall on those who are in the first line. The poor man standing in the last row should come last but the action being taken here is inhumane.

Uma Bharti sold Poha-Jalebi

A unique scene was seen on Tuesday morning after Tikamgarh Municipality launched the ‘Remove Encroachment’ campaign to remove roadside carts and street vendors in the city. Former Chief Minister Uma Bharti reached the Civil Lines area and as a symbolic protest, she herself started selling Poha-Jalebi at a Poha-Jalebi stall.

Protested against the administration’s anti-encroachment action

Let us inform that on Monday, Tikamgarh Municipality had removed the carts of many small vendors as part of the encroachment campaign, due to which they were facing a crisis of livelihood. Under these circumstances, Uma Bharti herself started selling poha while standing on the roadside on Tuesday morning and termed this action of the administration as dictatorial.

Said “This action is against the ideals of BJP”

Uma Bharti said that it is unfortunate that Tikamgarh Municipality and Assembly are not with BJP, otherwise such unjust action would not have taken place. He said that where the carts of the poor were removed, the houses and restaurants of resourceful people all around are still present in a challenging situation, disregarding the rules of encroachment. The former CM said that any reforms are implemented first on the able-bodied person of the society and last on the poor person and this is the ideal of BJP. She termed this action as inhuman and said that she will oppose it with all her strength.
