Badshah's Apology Over 'Tateeree' Lyrics Controversy

Recently, the renowned Bollywood rapper and singer Badshah faced significant backlash due to the lyrics of his latest song 'Tateeree', which led to its removal from YouTube. Following this incident, Badshah publicly apologized on social media. On Tuesday, April 7, his lawyer, Akshay Dahiya, revealed that the rapper submitted a written apology to the commission.

Apology Submitted to the Commission
Dahiya informed that Badshah has officially presented an apology to the commission. He has committed to sponsoring the education of 50 girls and assisting in fundraising efforts for their benefit. Badshah assured that such mistakes will not occur again. He appeared before the women's commission in response to the controversy surrounding 'Tateeree'. During a media interaction, Dahiya mentioned that Badshah was summoned by the National Women's Commission, which prompted his appearance. He expressed remorse and pledged to avoid creating any controversial songs that could offend women in the future. Additionally, he stated that they are already engaged in empowerment initiatives and plan to produce a song focused on empowerment.

Controversy Surrounding the Song's Lyrics
It is important to note that Badshah has been embroiled in controversy due to the inappropriate lyrics of 'Tateeree'. A First Information Report (FIR) has already been filed against him. Savita Arya, the president of the 'Nari Tu Narayani' organization from Panipat, lodged a complaint with the state women's commission, which led to the filing of complaints against Badshah in Panchkula and Jind. He was summoned to present his case during a public hearing scheduled for March 13 at the Panipat district secretariat, but he could not attend due to prior commitments. Consequently, he was called to the office of the National Women's Commission, where he appeared today.
