Kolkata: A catering van collided with a parked IndiGo aircraft at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Tuesday. The plane was scheduled to fly to Guwahati, Assam.
The aircraft suffered minor damages following the collision at Bay No. 51. No injuries has yet been reported. The airline is yet to issue an official statement over the incident.
The aircraft was grounded and underwent necessary maintenance.

Meanwhile, schedules of several IndiGo flights have been impacted in Delhi due to bad weather.
In another case of a minor mishap at runway, the wingtips of an Air India aircraft and an IndiGo plane brushed each other while taxiing at the Mumbai airport in February. All passengers were reported safe following the incident.
Last month, the pilot and co-pilot of an Air Canada Express regional jet were killed after the aircraft collided with a fire truck while landing at New York’s LaGuardia airport. Operated by Jazz Aviation, the plane was carrying 72 passengers and four crew members from Montreal.
