Recent images have surfaced showing Offset in a wheelchair outside a hospital after he was shot near a casino in Florida. The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was photographed wearing a hospital gown, non-slip socks, and wristbands, with a bandage on his arm and monitoring wires attached to his fingertip. An ICU tag was also visible on the wheelchair. His representatives have stated that he is currently stable and under close observation.

The shooting occurred late Monday night following a confrontation outside the Seminole Hard Rock casino in Hollywood, close to Miami, as reported by police. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by Offset are not life-threatening. Although his exact medical condition has not been disclosed, a spokesperson confirmed he is receiving treatment.

Authorities have detained two individuals in connection with the incident. One of them, rapper Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, has been arrested due to the altercation that led to the shooting. According to the Seminole Police Department, he faces charges of disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without a valid license. His attorney, Dawn M. Florio, clarified that he was not armed and is not facing any weapons-related charges. He has since posted bond and was released on Tuesday afternoon.

While police confirmed that one person was injured in the valet area outside the casino, they have not disclosed the identity of the victim. A second individual who was detained has not been charged, and investigations are ongoing to identify any additional parties involved.

Offset gained fame as part of the hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group is celebrated for their distinctive rapid triplet flow and has produced numerous hit singles such as "Versace," "Bad and Boujee," "Stir Fry," "Narcos," and "T-Shirt." Tragically, Takeoff, Offset’s cousin, was shot and killed in 2022 during an incident at a bowling alley in Houston, where he was an innocent bystander caught in a dispute over a dice game.

Offset was previously married to Cardi B, with whom he tied the knot in 2017. The couple shares three children, but Cardi B announced her decision to file for divorce in 2024. The death of Takeoff is part of a troubling trend of fatal shootings involving prominent hip-hop artists in recent years, including Nipsey Hussle, Pop Smoke, PnB Rock, and Young Dolph.
