Thai airlines trim routes to Asian destinations amid fuel price hike

Thai Lion Air is set to temporarily halt flights between Don Mueang and Seoul’s Incheon airport from May 9 to Sept. 30, 2026, Nation Thailand reported.
The airline had only launched the route on Jan. 14 this year, operating one flight a day.
Thai AirAsia had earlier announced the temporary suspension of several routes to China’s Xi’an, India’s Chennaia and Kochi.
Budget carrier Thai AirAsia X suspended flights from Don Muang International Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport in China from April 17 to Oct. 24, and from Don Mueang to King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia from April 14 to May 30, Tiger reported.
