Chart-topping superstar Boy George is set to take to the stage for a Eurovision Song Contest warm-up show in London later this month, where he will perform his entry in the competition live for the first time. The Karma Chameleon hitmaker is a co-writer and also performs on Senhit's 2026 entry for San Marino entitled Superstar. However, the 64-year-old pop icon didn't appear on stage during the selection process for the song - instead, a video clip of him singing his part was used.

This led to speculation that he would not give an in-person performance at the event in Vienna, particularly since only Senhit's name is listed as a performer on the Eurovision website. However, it has now been confirmed he will be part of the official performance, and the pair are set to make their live stage debut at the London Eurovision Party, which takes place on April 19.

Senhit also confirmed his participation in an interview with Eurovisionfun, confirming the Culture Club frontman would join her on stage.

"Absolutely. Yes. This is something that was discussed with Boy George... He said, 'Absolutely, I will be involved with you, and I will be on stage with you. So yeah, you will see him for sure.'

She said their collaboration on the dance track was "like a coincidence, like destiny", claiming it was a surprise to the UK star."He [got a] shock when I was talking about Eurovision," she said. "Because he's from England and he knows Eurovision, [but I guess] he didn't expect the victory (in San Marino)... I don't know how it happened."

Speaking about what fans can expect from their pairing, she said: "We can dance, we can scream, we can sing, we can bring our superstar vibe onstage. I think you will enjoy!"

Senhit has a long history with Eurovision and first represented San Marino with the song Stand By in 2011, but she failed to qualify for the final. She was also due to represent the country in 2020 with a song called Freaky!, but that year's contest was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.

Boy George and Senhit will take to the stage in the first semi-final in Vienna on May 12. His participation gives additional hope of a British victory in the contest - albeit in a roundabout way.

The UK's official entrant electronic music artist and YouTuber Look Mum No Computer, whose real name is Sam Battle, will perform his track Eins, Zwei, Drei in the final.

The track, described as blending Britpop with 1980s retro sounds, sparked debate due to its German-language chorus and lyrics criticising British culture.

The London Eurovision Party will take place at Outernet on April 19 hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race vs The World winner Tia Kofi, Danish star Sissal, and Austrian Eurovision veteran César Sampson. Tickets are available via their website.
