She used to ask herself – ‘I am only hearing good things, then why do I feel so tired?’ During this time, he found a small, but very effective book ‘Dopamine Detox’. This is a book of only 60 pages, but it changed Sushmita’s entire thinking and lifestyle.

Sushmita explained that dopamine is the chemical in our brain that gives us the feeling of ‘wanting more, wanting more’. The algorithms of social media, YouTube, reels and podcasts take advantage of this dopamine and keep us trapped in their web. She started with a 24-hour detox and has now reached the 8th day.
