- 2 medium tomatoes (puree)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 tsp cashew paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi
- 2 teaspoons oil or butter
- salt as per taste
- Green coriander (for garnish)
How to make Paneer Lababdar
Paneer Lababdar is a tasty dinner recipe. To prepare this, first of all heat oil or butter in a pan. Add finely chopped onion to it and fry until it turns golden. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook until aroma comes out.
Now add tomato puree to it and cook well. When the masala starts releasing oil, add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and salt and mix.
Now add cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add cream and mix the gravy well, so that it becomes rich and smooth.
Now add the paneer pieces and cook on low flame for 5 minutes, so that the flavor of the spices gets absorbed well in the paneer.
Finally add kasoori methi and garam masala. Garnish by adding green coriander on top. Serve hot Paneer Lababdar with naan, roti or jeera rice. Everyone will like its creamy and spicy taste.
