What are the Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates applying for this position must possess an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from a recognized university. Furthermore, candidates are required to have a minimum of three years of professional experience as an advocate (lawyer). This experience must be duly certified and verified by a competent authority or a senior advocate. Experience gained while working as a Law Clerk may also be considered valid.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for candidates has been set at 22 years. The maximum age limit for male candidates belonging to the General Category is 35 years. However, female candidates and candidates belonging to reserved categories are granted age relaxation, extending the maximum age limit up to 40 years. All regulations regarding age limits shall be applicable in accordance with the official guidelines.
