Iran's conditions: first trust, then talks
Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf is leading the delegation from Iran. He clearly says that it is difficult to trust America, because promises have been broken many times in the past also. Iran's main demands are:
- He should be considered to have control over the Strait of Hormuz.
- American forces retreated from this area.
- Economic restrictions should be removed.
- Seized Iranian assets should be returned.
Apart from this, Iran has made it clear that formal talks will not start before the implementation of ceasefire in Lebanon and the return of assets.
