Davina McCall revealed she has been given the all-clear from breast cancer in an emotional update on the results of her surgery and treatment earlier this year. The TV presenter, 58, shared the news on Friday while speaking candidly about her health, six months after undergoing a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy in January.

"I went to go and have a checkup on my boobs the other day, obviously quite a serious day, quite heavy," she said on her podcast Making The Cut, which she co-hosts with husband Michael Douglas, 49. "It was all clear, just letting everyone know. Good news, good news."

But just hours later The Long Lost Family presenter took to her Instagram Stories and shared an injury she suffered while hanging up pictures at home. Posting a selfie on Friday, Davina's lip was bloodied and slightly bruised, as she told her 2.1million followers, "Hanging pictures and one fell on my face [silly face emoji]."

The Masked Singer judge underwent a lumpectomy last October after discovering a lump in her breast while working on ITV's The Masked Singer.

She completed five days of preventative radiotherapy in January this year as an "insurance policy" to prevent the cancer from returning.

Davina revealed her breast cancer diagnosis last November, saying she was "very angry" when she found out but felt in a "much more positive place" following the surgery.

But her health woes didn't start there, as the presenter underwent a craniotomy after doctors discovered a "very rare" colloid cyst in her brain in 2024.

Before having the operation, Davina forced herself to come to terms with the fact she may not survive, noting how several of her family members died young.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping UK, she said: "I've been terrified of dying my whole life. My mum died quite young, my dad died quite young, and my sister died very young. I thought, 'I have to come to terms with the fact that I might not make it, so what do I have to do to make that okay?' I had to let go of the outcome and be able to go to sleep without the abject horror of the idea of dying."

Davina continued: "I said to Michael, 'If I go, I really need you to keep plugged in to the kids and stay in their lives.' We were both scared, but we were honest and told each other that. It made the whole thing less daunting, knowing that everything was out on the table."

The former Big Brother host shares Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 18, with her ex-husband Matthew Robertson. She has since remarried after finding love with hairdresser Michael Douglas, who has continued to support the presenter through the ordeal.
