Veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle was hospitalised on Saturday, April 11, after reportedly suffering a cardiac episode. is currently under medical care in the emergency unit at Breach Candy Hospital.
Sharing an update on her condition, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle addressed the situation on X, stating, “My grandmother, Asha Bhosle, due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection, has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy.”
She added, “Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively.”

Sources told Network 18 that Asha Bhosle was unconscious when she was brought to Breach Candy Hospital. She is currently admitted to the ICU, where doctors are closely monitoring her condition under constant medical supervision.
