Tornado Warning Issued Near Vina, California

A small tornado has reportedly touched down just outside of Vina, California, prompting a warning for nearby regions, including Chico, Butte County, Tehama County, and the Sacramento area. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or damage associated with the tornado at this time.
The National Weather Service has issued an active Tornado Warning for Vina in Tehama County, which is effective until 2:30 PM PDT on April 12, 2026. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
