‘Ekatm Parv’ will be organized in Omkareshwar on the occasion of Adi Shankaracharya’s manifestation festival, spiritual Kumbh will be organized from 17th to 21st April.

‘Ekatma Parv’ will be organized from 17 to 21 April on the occasion of the appearance anniversary of Adi Guru Adi Shankaracharya in Omkareshwar. This five-day event is being organized by Acharya Shankar Cultural Integration Trust and Culture Department at ‘Ekatm Dham’ located on Mandhata mountain, in which saints, scholars and many distinguished people from across the country will participate.

The program will be inaugurated on 17th April in the presence of Dwarka Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Sadanand Saraswati. During this time, Culture and Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Padmashree Nivedita Bhide and Swami Shardanand Saraswati will also be present. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend its closing ceremony on 21st April. Besides, Swami Avadheshanand Giri and Swami Tejomayanand Saraswati will also participate in the closing programme.

‘Ekatma Parv’ will be organized in Omkareshwar

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, a grand festival of cultural and spiritual unity is going to begin in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Under the joint aegis of Acharya Shankar Cultural Integration Trust and the State Culture Department, a five-day ‘Ekatm Parv’ will be organized at Ekatm Dham located on Mandhata mountain from 17 to 21 April.

Various topics will be discussed

Here, under the ‘Advaitamritam’ discussion series, dialogues will be held on various contemporary topics. On April 17, the youth perspective will come forward on the topic ‘Advaita and Gen-Z’ while on April 18, topics like Ramakrishna Mission, Sikh tradition and environment will be discussed in the context of Advaita philosophy.

On April 19, experts will present their views on topics like Advaita and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Global Peace and ‘One India’ which will include experts from various fields including IIT Delhi. On April 20, saints associated with Chinmaya Mission will throw light on the spread of Vedanta and its modern importance.

Colors of India’s diversity will be visible in the cultural evening

There will be cultural presentations on the theme ‘Raso Vaisa’ every evening during the festival. The event will begin on April 17 with classical singing and Odissi dance by Sri Jayateertha Mevundi. In the subsequent days, there will be various performances like Guru Vani, Bharatanatyam, Baul Sangeet and Carnatic Music. On the concluding day, Padmashree Hemant Chauhan’s Nirguna Vaani and Manipuri dance will attract the audience.

More than 700 youth will become ‘Shankardoot’

More than 700 youth from India and abroad will be initiated as ‘Shankardoot’ in the initiation ceremony organized in the morning on the banks of Narmada on 21st April. On this occasion, Swami Tejomayanand Saraswati and Gautam Bhai Patel will be honored for their contribution in spreading Advaita Vedanta. Pranayam and meditation sessions will also be organized daily during the festival, which will be conducted by Swami Yogapratap Saraswati. Along with this, there will also be Vedic rituals like Panchang Puja, Rudrapath, Yagya and Srichakra Puja.

‘Ekatm Dham’ will become a global spiritual center

Let us tell you that ‘Ekatm Dham’ is being developed as a center of spiritual and cultural unity at the global level. A 108 feet high ‘Statue of Oneness’ has been established here and in the next phase, a museum based on Advaita philosophy is being constructed at a cost of Rs 2195 crore.
