There is currently no official announcement regarding the renewal of Spy x Family Season 4 as of April 2026.

The last season (Season 3), a total of 13 episodes, aired between October 4, 2025 and December 27, 2025 by WIT Studio and CloverWorks, adapting parts of the manga from Mission 60 thru Mission 87 (which includes the conclusion of Loid’s Past Arc, Friendship Schemes, Bus Hijacking/Red Circus, Wheeler/Mole Hunt arcs, and a Short Mission).

Spy x Family Season 4: Release date speculation

As of now, there isn’t an official release date for SPY×FAMILY Season 4; however, there will be a special event called SPY×FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION II on November 8, 2026, in Tokyo. The main voice cast will perform live at this event, along with various panels and something in the way of new information regarding Season 4 (or other projects). Past events like this one have used either to announce new seasons or new films.

The estimated timeframe for the release of Season Four of SPY×FAMILY is late 2027 (potentially fall). This estimation is based upon the previous two-year gaps between the release of Seasons 1 (2022), 2 (2023), and 3 (2025). The pace of manga publication (bi-weekly), studio commitments, and the timelines for each previous season’s production all support this estimate. Some fans believe it could be possible to see Season 4 earlier if SPY×FAMILY continues to build momentum; however, the likelihood is that there will be delays during the production phase of this series.

Netflix will release all previous seasons (including Season 3) to regions outside of Japan starting on April 4, 2026, however, the release of all previous seasons does not impact or give any indication of when the release of Season 4 will occur or any additional regions it will be released in.

Spy x Family Season 4: Cast

The core Japanese voice cast is expected to return unchanged, as is standard, which includes:

• Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger / Twilight
• Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger
• Saori Hayami as Yor Forger / Thorn Princess
• Ken’ichirô Matsuda as Bond Forger (and narrator)

Supporting roles like Fiona Frost (Ayane Sakura), Becky Blackbell (Emiri Katō), Damian Desmond, Franky Franklin, Yuri Briar, and others should reprise as well. English dub voices (e.g., Alex Organ as Loid, Megan Shipman as Anya, Natalie Van Sistine as Yor) are also likely to return.

Spy x Family Season 4: Plot details

Unless stated otherwise, Season 4 is expected to follow the Wheeler arc (after the manga chapters of the Mission arc). The following arcs would likely appear in Season 4:

1) The Term Finals Arc — This arc will cover the finals and Anya’s academics at Eden Academy, examines the family’s dynamic, and including Anya’s academic struggles.

2) The Love and War Arc — This arc will cover the characters’ (Yor, Loid, and others) romantic relationships.

3) The Term Break/Henderson’s Past Arc — This arc will cover the backstories and flashbacks of characters, including Henry Henderson/Martha.

4) The rest of the arcs from the later chapters of the manga (Poacher Hunting Arc and Desmond family intrigue, including Molly Melinda and Donovan Desmond).

The primary story is still focused on Operation Strix (Loid getting closer to Donovan Desmond to find peace between Ostania and Westalis) with comedy, action, espionage, and the Forger family getting closer. The manga (currently at Chapter 132 as of April 2026, bi-weekly schedule) has a lot of material, including lots of problems in the world, growing relationships in school, and plenty of surprises.

There has not been any trailers, key art, or episode counts for Season 4 yet; however, since the series is very popular, the return of the series with a Season 4 will be expected with the same quality from the two studios of Spy x Family.
