Noida, 14 April. The administration is in full alert mode after the recent violent protests and uproar in the industrial areas of Noida. Heavy police force has been deployed in the entire industrial area today to keep the situation under control. Police Commissioner, Additional CP, RAF, PAC and senior officers of the district administration are themselves present at Ground Zero and are continuously monitoring the situation. To further strengthen the security arrangements, the administration has divided the entire area into sectors, where RAF and PAC personnel have been deployed.

Besides, flag marches are also being carried out in various areas so that the common people and workers remain assured of their safety. Intensive checking campaign is also being conducted at major border points of Noida. After the uproar, today due to “guested holiday” 95 percent of the companies are there. However, work is continuing on a limited scale at some places, where workers were seen working. The administration has called workers of 70 companies for talks and talks are going on regarding their demands.

The Police Commissioner has appealed to the workers and the general public not to pay heed to any kind of rumors and maintain peace. He assured that all problems would be resolved through dialogue and industrial development would not be allowed to be affected. During the investigation, the police found that the role of some organized elements has come to light in this entire incident. So far more than 300 people have been detained and many have also been arrested.

Police have identified more than 50 Twitter handles through which workers were instigated by spreading rumours. Apart from this, several WhatsApp groups have also been identified in which workers were connected through QR codes and used to instigate them. Police investigation has also revealed that some elements were trying to spread violence in other states also. The workers were instigated through viral audios and chats and the campaign was being conducted in an organized manner through call centres.

Not only this, there are also indications of funding for the violent protests, whose money trail is being investigated. Police have registered an FIR against the inflammatory posts made on X platforms. Besides, the handle associated with a political party is also being investigated. The administration says that strict action will be taken against the organizations and individuals involved in this entire matter.
