PTC Web Desk: Bihar is set for a major political transition as Samrat Choudhary is poised to become the next Chief Minister after being elected leader of BJP Legislature Party. formal announcement is expected following the NDA meeting. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 15 at Lok Bhavan.
Earlier in the day, outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tendered his resignation to the Governor. He arrived at Raj Bhavan in the same vehicle along with Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Choudhary to formally submit his resignation.
Following his resignation, Nitish Kumar took to X (formerly Twitter) and said, “Now the new government will take charge here. My full support will be with the new government. Good work will continue and Bihar will progress further.”
The political development marks another shift in Bihar’s political arena, with the NDA preparing to form the new government under fresh leadership.
