Today, a seminar was held at the university campus to honor the 135th birth anniversary of the esteemed thinker, social reformer, and architect of the Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Students, faculty, and staff gathered to pay their respects by offering floral tributes at his statue.
During the event, Dr. Sanjeev Rai, the Registrar, elaborated on Dr. Ambedkar's multifaceted contributions to social justice, equality, the promotion of education, and the establishment of democratic values. He emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar's life is a remarkable example of struggle, determination, and dedication, which continues to inspire all sections of society today.
In his address, Financial Controller Prakash highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar is recognized not only as a leader in India but also on a global scale. Dr. Saroj Malik remarked that Baba Saheb's thoughts and perspectives serve as guiding principles for human rights, equality, and justice. Dr. Nasiruddin and Dr. Rajesh Prasad Singh urged students and teachers to disseminate Dr. Ambedkar's ideals through education, aiming to foster an equitable and aware society.
The program concluded with a commitment to uphold Dr. Ambedkar's principles, reflecting on his contributions to nation-building. Dr. Parul and Shagufta also shared their insights during the event.
