Lucknow, 14 April. The birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is being celebrated in the entire country along with Uttar Pradesh. In this series, Dalit leader and BSP supremo Mayawati paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar at her residence. On this occasion, a message was issued to the supporters and workers. He said in clear words that if the governments of the country had sincerely implemented the objectives of Baba Saheb’s pro-people and egalitarian Constitution, then today India would have been established as a strong, self-reliant nation free from poverty, unemployment, discrimination and injustice.

The BSP supremo further wrote, “It is well known that the entire life of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was spent in a very tough struggle for the security, respect and upliftment of the ‘Bahujan Samaj’ including the country’s poor, neglected, exploited and women suffering from casteism and feudalism, etc., ultimately whose guarantee he did the historic work of ensuring in the Constitution and became immortal and for which the country will always be grateful to him.

But if the parties in power at the center of the country and in the states would have been truly successful in achieving the sacred objectives of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s ultra-humanistic, all-people-friendly and Bahujan-welfare Constitution, then India would have become a self-reliant/self-reliant and developed country and millions of Bahujans here would have been free from immense poverty, unemployment, casteist hatred, exploitation and atrocities etc. And he would definitely be able to give a life based on justice to the people. If this has not happened then why? By finding the answer to this, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s caravan of ‘social transformation and economic liberation’ in the country will definitely move towards its destination by achieving electoral success.”

The birth anniversary will be celebrated in a grand manner today at Dr. Ambedkar Social Transformation Sthal in Gomti Nagar. A large number of people are reaching here. Bahujan Samaj Party celebrates the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb every year on the instructions of sister Mayawati. While people of other parties are doing drama in the name of Jayanti.”
