Kolkata. There was a stir in the politics of West Bengal when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing an election rally organized in Dinhata, Cooch Behar, he claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched to spoil the atmosphere during the elections.

Allegation of ‘conspiracy to plant a bomb’
Mamata Banerjee (BJP) in her speech said that BJP is planning to plant bombs to create unrest in the state at the time of elections. He alleged that all this is being done to influence the election environment, so as to create fear among the voters.
The Chief Minister also raised questions on the role of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He said that central agencies are being used for political purposes. Mamata Banerjee alleged that the atmosphere can be made more tense by bringing in NIA during the elections.
