Bulandshahr: A startling incident has emerged from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where a nephew developed feelings for his own aunt. Their relationship intensified over time, leading them to a hotel to celebrate their union. However, their dreams quickly shattered, prompting a drastic decision that left the police in shock. Fearing exposure, the couple ingested poison in the hotel. They were subsequently hospitalized, and once their condition stabilized, they were taken into custody by the Delhi police. The local police have denied any formal documentation of the case.

It is often said that love knows no boundaries, including age or familial ties. This particular love story, however, has raised eyebrows and strained relationships. The woman, originally from Gautam Buddh Nagar, was married to a man from Jahangirabad, while her nephew resides in Delhi. Their affection grew so strong that she left her husband to elope with her nephew. Reports indicate that they had checked into a hotel two days prior to the incident.

The 22-year-old nephew was involved in a romantic relationship with his aunt, who had recently returned to her parental home. On June 17, she left with her nephew, leading her family to file a missing person report on June 20 at the Beta 2 police station in Gautam Buddh Nagar. Similarly, the nephew's family reported him missing at the Dayalpur police station in Delhi on the same day.

Both Gautam Buddh Nagar and Delhi police were actively searching for the couple. On Saturday, authorities received a tip-off about their whereabouts at a hotel near the old bus stand in Bulandshahr. Upon learning of the police's approach, the woman and her nephew consumed poison. They were rushed to the hospital, and after their condition improved, the Delhi police took them into custody.

The station officer confirmed that the woman was indeed in a romantic relationship with her nephew, which led them to abandon their homes. Following their act of consuming poison, they were taken into custody by the Delhi police once their health was stabilized.
