Ambrane Semi-Solid Battery for Power Bank: Indian electronics brand Ambrane has introduced India’s first ‘Made in India’ semi-solid battery technology. This technology is specially designed for power banks, which is much safer and more powerful than the old lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. Now users will get great relief from problems like power bank bursting or overheating.
This battery is inspired by EV technology
Interestingly, this semi-solid battery technology is inspired by the batteries primarily used in Electric Vehicles (EV). Due to its safety and non-flammability, it is considered reliable in electric vehicles. Now Ambrane has brought this next-generation technology to consumer electronics, which will make even small devices smarter and safer than before.
Will remain cool even in heat and humidity
This battery has been specially designed keeping in mind the changing climate and extreme heat of India. It uses an advanced heat-resistance mechanism. Due to its solid gel-like structure, the risk of leakage, overheating, swelling (battery swelling) and fire is almost eliminated. This technology is capable of delivering stable performance despite temperature fluctuations.
More power and compact design
Due to semi-solid battery technology, the size of the power bank will now be smaller but its capacity will be higher. This technology gives 1.5 times more energy efficiency than the old power bank of the same size. This means that now users will not need to carry heavy power banks and they will be able to get more backup in less weight.
