Deepak Hooda was born on April 19, 1995 in Rohtak, Haryana. Deepak had a special love for cricket since the beginning, although basic facilities for this game were not available in Haryana. This was the reason why Deepak left Haryana and shifted to Baroda. Due to his consistently strong performance, Deepak played his first match in domestic cricket for Baroda in 2014. Debut against West Indies in 2022

Deepak joined Rajasthan in domestic cricket and never looked back. Deepak was rewarded for his consistently excellent performance in domestic cricket and he got a call from the Indian team in the year 2022. Deepak made his ODI debut on 6 February 2022 against West Indies. At the same time, in the same month, he also got a chance to start his T20 International career against Sri Lanka.

Deepak has so far scored 153 runs at an average of 25 in the 10 ODI matches played by India. Whereas, in T20 International, Deepak has scored 368 runs in 17 innings playing at a strike rate of 147. Deepak is one of those Indian batsmen who have scored a century in the shortest format of cricket. Deepak has also taken 9 wickets in ODI and T20 together.
