Ali Asgar told the reason for leaving the show

In a podcast with Maniesh Paul, Ali Asgar recalled how his son was harassed because of his on-screen personality. Manish said, “Somewhere this grandmotherly character of yours has overshadowed the children, this bullying…” Responding to this, Ali Asgar said, “It was written on the wall in Chhote Bachchan sahib's hand 'My father is a thief', but in my son's hand it was not written 'My father is a woman.'

“Women's characters were available”

Ali Asghar further told that at that time his children, son Nuyan and daughter Ada Asghar were very young, but later he realized that this situation could not continue forever. He said, "The listeners will think that he is crazy, why did he leave all this? I was constantly given women's roles. There, I had developed a special image. Moreover, this work had become very easy for the writers too. But I don't want to do just this, I have to do something else too. I will not eat dal and rice every day, I have to eat whole vegetables as well."
