JSW MG Motor India has increased the prices of its premium electric cars. This increase has made both the luxury MPV and the performance-focused roadster models more expensive. The price has been hiked up to a whopping Rs 5 lakh due to the increase in input costs. As per the new pricing, the MG M9 is now priced at Rs 75.90 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 5 lakh more than its previous price.

On the other hand, the price of MG Cyberster has been increased by Rs 2.50 lakh. The car is now available at a price of Rs 77.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The change follows the company’s decision to revise the prices of all vehicles from April 2026 onwards.

MG M9

The MG M9 is a premium electric MPV currently available in a single variant. It has no direct electric competitor in this segment in India. This car has a large battery capacity of 90 kWh, once fully charged it gives a range of around 548 km as per ARAI.

In terms of comfort, the M9 gets a 7-seater layout, ventilated and massage seats, a dual-pane sunroof and a premium 13-speaker sound system. Additionally, Level 2 ADAS and many modern features make this car a strong alternative to luxury MPVs like the Kia Carnival, albeit at a higher price.

MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster is designed for those who focus on performance. The car comes only in all-wheel drive variant and has a dual motor setup, which produces 528 bhp of power and 725 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric cars in its segment.

The roadster is powered by a 77 kWh battery, which offers a range of around 580 km on a single charge. Both these models are sold exclusively through MG Select dealerships, further strengthening their premium identity in the Indian market.
