Chiranjeevi confirms Pawan Kalyan is safe and recovering well after Power Star undergoes surgery

Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan , who serves as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, underwent surgery on Saturday evening after a health complication on Friday. Recently, his brother and Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi shared a health update on the ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ star. He confirmed that he is safe and recovering well.
Chiranjeevi shares reassuring updateChiranjeevi took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote, “Kalyan Babu has successfully undergone a medical procedure and is now safe, stable, and recovering well. As per the doctors, it may take about a week for him to return to his normal routine. There is no cause for concern.”
He also added his gratitude who shared their concern for the Power Star. “Thank you all for your love, concern, and prayers. Let us keep him in our thoughts and wish him strength, comfort, and a speedy recovery,” he added.
The statement further shared that doctors have advised Pawan Kalyan to resume his official duties after a week to ten days of rest. They have also indicated that long-term precautions will be necessary and that full recovery may take a longer period.
Actors including Jr NTR and Sai Dharam Tej have also shared their wishes for his speedy recovery.
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, featuring as a cop in a Harish Shankar directorial. The movie also includes Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna in the lead.
Recently, there have been reports that he will be seen in a cameo role in the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer 2’. However, no official updates have been made yet.

Pawan Kalyan underwent surgeryOn Saturday, the Janasena Party’s official social media handle shared a detailed statement, which mentioned that Pawan Kalyan was first admitted to a hospital in Vijayawada, where doctors checked his condition and did tests, including an MRI scan. After seeing the reports, the medical team decided that surgery was needed. Later, he was shifted to Hyderabad for better care. On Saturday evening, doctors performed the surgery. The procedure was completed successfully.
