Rajasthan Royals' wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel pulls off unbelievable stumping, as Ravi Bishnoi dismisses Green in brilliant fashion in IPL 2026, match 28 at Eden Gardens.

The incident occurred on the fifth ball, when Green tried to move down the pitch, and Bishnoi, anticipating this, sent down a googly wide down the leg side. It turned square from there, the keeper found it difficult to get the ball in a split second as his vision was blocked by the batter momentarily. But the gloveman reacted quickly, dived towards his left, collected the ball, and with an incredible one handed throw, hit the stumps.

Green was way out of his crease, and could not make it in time. Although it went to the third umpire, the decision was pretty clear. The Aussie all-rounder had to depart with a quick fire 27 runs in 13 balls that were studded with 4 boundaries and a six.

KKR's Chase Stumbles After Early Wickets

Chasing 156, Kolkata had a torrid time, and at the time of this wicket, were 37 for 3 in 4.3 overs. The story earlier saw Jofra Archer make his mark on the first ball of the chase itself with a dismissals off Tim Siefert for a duck.

The captain Ajinkya Rahane followed suit and went for zero, dismissed by Nandre Burger. The only player in the chase to look confident till then was the Aussie, who was firing on all cylinders before the above moment shifted the momentum again. At the time of this dismissal KKR still needed 119 in 93 balls, and had a lot of pressure building on the power play already.

Rajasthan Royals Score 155 Despite Good Start

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for 155-9 in 20 overs after getting a wonderful 81 run opening stand between Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was the top scorer with 46 while Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 39.

Unfortunately, the Rajasthan Royals failed to maintain the momentum in the middle order and regular fall of wickets further hampered their scoring rate. Varun Chakravarthy was a leading bowler for his side with 3 wickets while Kartik Tyagi also took 3 key wickets.

Despite the terrific start in their batting inning, Rajasthan Royals managed to score a below-par total. However, crucial early wickets in the chase and wonderful stumpings by Dhruv Jurel keep them on top of the contest.
