Rock enthusiasts in India faced disappointment on Saturday when BookMyShow Live announced the total cancellation of the Scorpions’ Coming Home India Tour 2026. The reason cited was “unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members.” This tour was highly awaited, with the iconic German rock band set to perform four significant shows across various cities later this month.
The cancellation affects all scheduled performances in India, including shows in Shillong on April 21, Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26, and Mumbai on April 30.
In an official announcement, the promoters explained that the decision was made due to the unforeseen medical issues impacting the band members. Although specific medical information was not provided, they emphasized that the band is eager to perform in India when circumstances allow and their schedule permits.
BookMyShow has reassured ticket holders that refunds will be automatically processed, requiring no additional action from them.
Refunds will be completed within 7-10 working days and will be credited back to the original payment method without the need for manual requests.
