To prepare this cholesterol-lowering drink, you will need garlic, which contains allicin that prevents cholesterol oxidation—a major cause of blockages. Additionally, ginger, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and lemon, a natural detoxifier rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, are essential ingredients.

Start by crushing 5 to 6 cloves of garlic and an inch of peeled ginger. Combine this mixture with one liter of water and boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then add the juice of one lemon. Mix thoroughly and store the concoction in a glass container in the refrigerator.

Dr. Joshi recommends consuming 50 milliliters of this drink every morning on an empty stomach. If drinking it on an empty stomach is uncomfortable, it can be taken an hour after breakfast. Ensure to drink it at least once a day.

Fennel seed water is another effective option for lowering high cholesterol. It also promotes digestive health and can help regulate blood sugar levels. To prepare fennel seed water, boil 2 to 3 teaspoons of fennel seeds in water and consume it on an empty stomach.
