A couple in Berkshire, South-East England, faced an unusual predicament when their bed collapsed during intimacy, resulting in the woman falling to the floor and suffering a serious injury. John Marshall, a resident of the area, initially found the situation amusing but soon realized the gravity of the incident when his partner, Claire, sustained significant harm.
Following the incident, Claire has filed a lawsuit against the bed manufacturer. She had purchased the bed just days prior to the mishap. During the court proceedings at the London High Court, it was revealed that the bed broke while the couple was engaged in sexual activity and Claire was changing positions.
John recounted to the judge, ‘After Claire fell, I was jokingly telling her to get up, but she was seriously injured.’ The fall resulted in a spinal injury for Claire, who claims that the accident was due to a defect in the bed she had bought a few weeks earlier.
Claire alleges that the bed had issues from the moment it was delivered. However, the bed company has denied these claims, asserting that they delivered the bed in perfect condition.
