New Delhi, 20 April. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the central office of Sanskriti Bharati in the national capital Delhi. On the occasion of the inauguration of the central office of Sanskrit Bharati, many prominent leaders and scholars of the country stressed the importance of Sanskrit language. Senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, while talking to a news agency, said, “If most of the work in the country starts being done in Sanskrit, it will be a big achievement for India. At the time of making the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had tried to make Sanskrit the national language.
According to Joshi, Sanskrit is the ancient heritage not only of India but of the entire world. Dinesh Chandra, International Patron of Vishwa Hindu Parishad also expressed his views in the program and said that Sanskrit should get the status of national language. Sanskrit should be the national language. Indraprastha was developed by the hard work of Pandavas, so on that basis, the name Indraprastha should be considered. Dinesh Chandra said, “Sanskrit is considered the basic language of the world. Many Indian and global languages originate from Sanskrit. Sanskrit Bharati aims to promote Sanskrit across the world. From foundational texts like the Vedas to other classical works, knowledge is preserved in Sanskrit.”
Delhi Government Minister Pravesh Verma said, “Sanskrit Bharati is being inaugurated in Delhi today. It is a matter of good fortune that it is being inaugurated by the Director. Sanskrit has a very big place. Many languages of the world have emerged from culture and people have started using Sanskrit a little in their daily routine and it is a matter of pride for us.” He said that this is a huge contribution to enhancing the culture in the country and increasing its importance. The office is being inaugurated here today. I pray to God that we get so much power from here that people across the country can use it in their daily routine.
Srinivas Varkhedi, Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, says, “Sanskrit is not just a language; it is a bridge and the source of our knowledge tradition. Sanskrit is of utmost importance in today’s knowledge era.” Professor Murali Manohar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, says, “Sanskrit has great importance in education, because if we do not preserve our moral values while moving towards material progress, humanity cannot remain safe.”
