After eating fruits, we throw away their peels, but fruit peels can also be really economical and effective for the skin. It is just important to keep in mind that not everything suits every skin type, so it would be wise to do a patch test before use. Let us know which fruits can be beneficial by rubbing their peels on the skin.

orange peel

Orange peel is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. It helps in brightening the skin and reducing blemishes. You can also use dried peel by making powder.

banana peel

Banana peel hydrates and softens the skin. The nutrients present in it can also help in reducing wrinkles. You can rub it directly on the face gently.

papaya peel

Papaya contains enzymes (papain) which help in removing dead skin. Its peel is good for mild exfoliation and gives glow to the skin.
