David Haye's final swipe at Adam Thomas after I'm a Celeb double exit

After 15 days in the I'm A Celebrity All Stars camp, David Haye has officially left the show as part of a shock double eviction - but that didn't stop him from taking another swipe at campmate Adam Thomas. Over the past two weeks, the pair have clashed by the campfire, with many siding with the ITV soap star. The 37-year-old Waterloo Road star suffers from autoimmune illness, psoriatic arthritis, following his diagnosis in 2023 and has been seen feeling unwell during his time on the show.

This even forced the star to pull out of a Bushtucker Trial due to his ill health and dehydration, which didn't go unnoticed by the heavyweight boxer. The sportsman has branded Adam as lazy and useless for not taking part in the show.

In their final conversations before David left the ITV camp, he said Adam lacked the "mental strength" to continue in a group trial and also questioned if he had "some issues" outside of camp. Adam said: "I've got no issues, David, you're my issue right now."

Elsewhere, Adam told David: "Shut up, man. all day every day for two days straight, just chill." Despite tensions rising in camp, David said he found their chats "funny", while Adam said on social media that the sportsman "broke him".

In the camp, Adam said: "I'm glad you love it, because I don't. Because I like you, bro, and I don't understand why you keep coming for me 24/7." David then made an attempt to apologise, which Adam called out: "You're not bro."

On Monday (April 20), David was eliminated from the show, taking Gemma Collins with him in the eviction vote off. After leaving the show, Haye was quizzed about his relationship with Adam, and he jumped at the chance to take one more jab at the actor on the show.

He said: "No bad blood from my side. Look, I've been immersed in tough boxing gyms since I was ten years old. Literally fighting daily, much bigger men than myself, pushing myself to the limits, physically pushing myself to the limits physically, and mentally.

"I won the world heavyweight championship against a seven-foot Russian giant. So when a grown man tells me that a fun TV show - where we're being paid handsomely every single day - is the hardest thing he's ever been through, it's just not a frequency I recognise.

"I was actually on my best behaviour in there, honestly," he admitted. "I've spoken to Adam, I've said my piece, and some of what's still to air will speak for itself. I'll leave it there." This could possibly be a reference to another row Adam got involved in after he left the show, when the actor also clashed with Jimmy Bullard, which is set to air on Tuesday night (Tuesday 21).

David also insisted he was "relieved" to leave the camp at the start of the final week, adding: "I'm walking out with a smile on my face. I wasn't the first out the door either, which I'm pleased about. But more than anything, what made it worthwhile was the company.

"The personalities in that camp were something else, and that's what I'll take away from it. I walked in, telling myself to soak up every minute of it, and I did. The campmates were a proper group - funny, warm, full of character.

"The energy was there from day one. I've come away with friendships I know I'll keep - people I'll genuinely stay in touch with. That's not something you can fake." He insisted that his conversations in the South African camp were "deeper" than those he had when he appeared on the show in Australia, partly because he is a parent now.

When he was asked why he picked the TOWIE queen to leave the show with him, he explained: "Gemma was ready. You could see it in her. Everyone else still had that fire, still wanted to stay and fight for it, so it was a no-brainer, really.

"The two of us were both itching to get back to our partners, and I think we'd both earned it - done our trials, had a laugh, properly thrown ourselves into the experience. We were ready to call it a day and move on."

The sportsman admitted that he was surprised the pair got on so well despite both having very big personalities in the camp. Haye explained: "It took us a bit of time to find our rhythm, because we're both big personalities and neither of us does quiet, but once we got there, I had nothing but respect for her. She's unapologetically herself, doesn't put on a front for anyone, and I love that about her."
