The World Snooker Championship is in full flow after a thrilling start to proceedings at the Crucible. All eyes will be on the Sheffield venue today, as both Judd Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan begin their campaigns.
World No.1 Trump begins his quest for a second world title against Gary Wilson, who is placed 27th in the rankings. Meanwhile, an elusive eighth Crucible crown still evades O'Sullivan, whose opening round clash will come against He Guoqiang later today.
O'Sullivan has vowed to keep trying to win number eight for a few more years at least, having come close during a run to the semi-finals last year. Zhao Xintong was the victor on that occasion, with the Chinese potter going on to beat Mark Williams in the final.
The Rocket will be hoping to go one better this time around, but he'll certainly be tested against He, who beat Jack Lisowski en route to qualifying. Follow Express Sport below for all the latest scores, news and updates from the World Championship...
