To what extent did gold become the most expensive?
There has been a tremendous rise in gold prices so far this year. On December 31, 2025, the price of 24 carat gold was around Rs 1.33 lakh per 10 grams, which has now crossed Rs 1.52 lakh. Earlier, at the end of January 2026, gold had made a record by reaching Rs 1.76 lakh per 10 grams.
