Shahrukh’s ‘King’ earned Rs 250 crore even before its release, know which superstars will be seen in the film

Bollywood updates: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘King’ has made a big splash even before its release. The film has earned ₹250 crores even before its theatrical release, with more than half of its budget already recovered. According to media reports, Pen Marudhar has bought the all India distribution rights of the film for ₹250 crore. This deal is being counted among the biggest theatrical deals of this year. It is being told that the total budget of the film is around ₹ 400 crores, so even before the release the film has recovered more than half of its budget. Getting a huge amount is considered a big relief for the makers.

Penn Marudhar and Shahrukh Khan’s production house have a long standing relationship. The company has previously released films like ‘Jawaan’, ‘Danky’, ‘Zero’, ‘Badla’ and ‘Ittefaq’. Several big companies had bid for the domestic rights of the film, including AA Films, Jio Studios, PVR INOX Pictures, Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions.

Mega clash will take place on Christmas 2026

‘King’ is planned to be released on Christmas 2026, where it will face big Hollywood films. These include big Hollywood films like Jumanji, Avengers: Doomsday and Dune 3. In view of this tough competition, preparations are being made for the film’s theatrical release on a large scale. Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi will be seen along with Shahrukh Khan in the film.
